The Sports School of Excellence runs a professional season of hockey, and invites anyone and everyone, boys and girls from any high school in Pretoria, who want to improve their skills to sign up. We provide nutritionists, biokinetics, fitness consultants, physios and professional coaches. We will be hosting the full programme from the Pretoria High School Old Boys Club during the entire year in afternoon and evenings due to the high schools only coming out later in the day.
All the players that join will be registered to Old Boys Club and could, if they wanted to, could play in the club league on weekends.
We will also be giving extra coaching and advice to schools who are interested. We are currently involved with Crawford College Pretoria giving them a full training-programme for developing skills.

The SSE aims to help fulfil the potential of advanced hockey players through professional training. The SSE is an advanced and professional training school focussing on the physical, mental and technical aspects of hockey, giving the pupil every opportunity to take their game to the next level.

The senior school runs from month to month. They will be playing for the PHSOB Club sides.
We take a maximum of 20 Female and 20 Male Students at any given time. The cost is R400.00 per month.
This course is aimed at school learners and sportsmen and sportswomen wanting to better their hockey skills and training, as well as broaden their horizons on an international front.
We also offer our local players the opportunity to play hockey for a club in overseas places, like UK and Holland, during our off season, or after school once the players have finished matric.

 We offer individual coaching by one of the cities top hockey coaches. Gavin will work intensely on drag flicks, positional play and all aspects needed to excel in hockey. Please e-mail to book or phone. We are keen to come to you to help with time issues.
