We at the Sports School are dedicated to improving sport for all schools and children of all ages. We are offering holiday academies, weekly projects, and can provide schools in the Pretoria area with coaches. With our holiday and weekly projects we travel around the country to offer our expertise. We will always be willing to help and if any information is needed please contact us. We provide these courses in Cricket, Hockey, Touch Rugby and Soccer.
We have Recently taken over the Woodhill College Cricket academy and are very keen to get started there. We are running Academies on Mondays and Wednesdays as well as Individuals when ever the players can attend the lessons. Our Head coach will be at the Woodhill Grounds running Proceedings, and organising everything.
The junior section focuses on children from the age of 6 to the age of 14 and endeavours to improve the basic skill level of the child to emphasise and teach basic technique which will lay a foundation for future coaching and success, this cricket school plays matches in the Northern’s cricket league and has been very successful. We have one Under 9 two under 11 and two under 13 teams that compete weekly and in total we have about 120 young players at the SSE Junior Academy.
We take care of every one of our students and offer individual lessons where one coach takes a learner and coaches him individually. These lessons greatly increase the talent of the learners. The prices are R120 – R200 per hour or R60 – R100 for 30min. We only let really experienced coaches run these lessons. Please contact us if your are interested in booking a session. We also are running small group sessions for not more than 6 learners, the cost of these sessions are R50.00 per student, minimum 4 learners.
